The stories
The stories behind the games, told the way they were told to us. We're building the stories and voiceovers alongside the games, so this part of Airava is still growing. Soon, children will be able to hear more of the stories behind the characters they've been playing with — and discover where they came from, together with you.
Krishna's Butter Hunt
Krishna was a little boy — mischievous, funny, and deeply loved. One of the most famous stories about him is that he loved butter, and would find it wherever it was hidden. In this game, your child joins Krishna in that mischievous world, helping him — or his friend Radha — find butter pots tucked around Gokul.
From the courtyard outward. Fifteen scenes take your child through Krishna's world — courtyards, gardens, village paths, forests, streams and open skies. Along the way they'll find brass pots, stacks of hay, baskets and sacks, rangoli at the threshold, stepping stones, trees and shady corners — familiar things that become hiding places.
The animals are friends, not obstacles. Tap any one and it dances towards what's hidden, with a sparkle trail. Your child learns that asking friends for help can help you get what you want.
The treasures. Each one is a real thing from Krishna's world — a peacock feather, a flute, a garland, anklets, a butter crown — and each gives you something interesting to talk about together.
Ganesha's Modak Hunt
Ganesha is a little boy, hunting the modaks his big brother Kartikeya has hidden for him. We've turned their sibling game into an adventure of our own, set high on Kailash.
From the family home into the mountains. Twelve scenes move through stone courtyards, a warm modak kitchen, a verandah overlooking snowy peaks, deodar forests, mountain streams, workshops, meadows and snow slopes. Along the way, there are copper pots, woollen bundles, pine branches, snow mounds and all sorts of places for a modak to disappear.
